Millennium Repertory Company presents “Willy Wonka: The Musical” at the Manchester Arts Center.

Willy Wonka, an eccentric candy mogul, stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five chocolate bars. The winners are promised a free tour of his factory and a lifetime supply of candy, but they end up with much more.

Featuring songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, “Wonka” is a “scrumdiddilyumptious” musical fit for the appetites of all ages.

The show is suitable for most audiences. Children under four will be admitted with the purchase of a student ticket, but adults should consider toddlers’ ability to remain attentive during the performance.

Shows are Nov. 10-12, 17-19. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 p.m.  Tickets are adults: $15, seniors/military/students/pre-k:$13.
