The Coffee County Central High School Student of the Week is sophomore Olivia Kilpatrick, the daughter of Lindsay and David Wiley and Brian Kilpatrick.
She is an honors student with an A average. She was nominated for student of the week by the CHS theater department chair, Jonathan Higdon.
Kilpatrick recently earned the lead role of Tiger Lily in the school’s production of “Peter Pan.”
Higdon said that Kilpatrick juggles a very busy schedule and has to miss theater rehearsal at times, yet she always finds out what she missed and returns to the next rehearsal on par with the rest of the cast.
“She is always positive, cheerful, energetic, and encouraging to everyone,” said Higdon.
While spending time memorizing lines and maintaining her excellent attitude, Kilpatrick also cheers on the varsity squad for CHS. She also participates in Skills USA where she competes in criminal justice competitions.
In Kilpatrick’s spare time, she enjoys dancing, creative writing, art, and show choir. She always stays busy while maintaining her excellent GPA. In the future, Kilpatrick plans to use her skills learned through criminal justice classes to study criminal justice at Middle Tennessee State University or The University of Tennessee- Chattanooga.
Kilpatrick would like to work for the TBI or FBI one day.
