Westwood Middle School proudly recognizes sixth grader, Angie Marceleno, as this week’s Rocket Pride Spotlight student.

Marceleno is the daughter of Eduardo Marceleno and Elizabeth Arrendondo.  She was nominated by her math teacher, Katrina Verge, who describes Angie as respectful, responsible, and trustworthy.

“Angie is a bright student who always makes good choices and is prepared for class.  She is respectful to her teachers and her peers.  Angie is a shining example of a Rocket Student,” states Verge.

Marceleno’s favorite subject is math.

“My future plans are to go to college to be a teacher and be a good one,” Marceleno said.

She wants to travel the world and loves cooking with her mom and baking with her sisters who she is very thankful for.  She is involved in church activities and likes to play volleyball.

Marceleno describes herself as very competitive, but most people do not know that because she does not show it.

Rocket Pride well done, Angie Marceleno.
