Raiderettes at competition

Coffee County Central High School Raiderette Dance Team went to Tennessee Technological University hosted UDA Dance Camp on June 12-15. The team performed three routines to be evaluated on at the end of the week, winning a Superior trophy, which is only awarded to the teams with the highest number of ribbons. The team also took home 32 blue ribbons, three red ribbons, no white, received a spirit stick everyday and 26 Drill Down ribbons. The team had two girls who tried out and made All American, team co-captains Kara Reed and Lizzie Freeze. Reed also took home a Pin it Forward pin, awarded by the UDA staff for showing good energy, hard work and a great personality.
