Eaton's Ace Hardware, on the corner of Murfreesboro and Woodbury highways, announced Aug.1 that the store will be closing.
"While we will miss serving Manchester, we are thankful for your continued support for many years," the announcement said.
As part of their closing, Eaton's will no longer offer in-store charges will be accepted after Aug. 31, they will no longer be participating in the ACE Rewards system, or refund any purchases; all sales are final.
Eaton's will require front payment for all special orders. and the store will announce new hours on its homepage.
"If you all have any questions, please call! We will continue to serve you to the best of our ability for as long as we can," the announcement said.
The Eaton line has served the Manchester and Coffee County since 1953.
