The Manchester Parks and Recreation annual Parkpalooza will be held from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday (May 9) in Rotary Park (next to the recreation complex at 557 N. Woodland St.).
Activities are planned through the morning and early afternoon, including a parade, live music, petting zoo, fitness trail and booths, Home Depot kids projects, inflatable exhibits, carnival games, GaGa tournament and a Zumbathon. Most of the events are free. However, the cost is $10 to join the Wheels in Motion bike parade that goes to the town square and back to the recreation center. Bicycles, skateboards or scooters are welcome to decorate and join the parade and receive a t-shirt upon completion. All funds raised will benefit projects at Tullahoma High School and Coffee County Central High School. In case of rain, events will take place inside the recreation center.
