The Ultimate Oldies will hit the Manchester Arts Center stage with a “Back to the Oldies” show with new music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s June 26-28 at 128 E. Main St.
Oldies’ Jamie Harden emphasized this is the first time we have done all four decades of rock together.
“I also want folks to know the MAC will be thoroughly cleaned, the theater and building, between shows and sanitizer will be available. Also masks are encouraged BUT not required,” Harden said.
Harden said that the group welcomes the opportunity to return to the stage
We want to thank our readers for helping us continue to be Manchester's news leader.
“We have been chomping at the bit to get back on stage. We thoroughly miss performing,” he said.
“Fans can expect some of our best rock and roll and doo wop of the 50s, more rock ‘n’ roll and folk music of the 60s, pop, funk and disco from the 70s and one hit wonders, rock ballads and the hair bands of the 80s,” he added.
Harden notes that the Manchester Art Center needs help after suffering revenue losses from the shutdown.
“The MAC has taken a hit with COVID-19 and needs your help financially to help keep the theater in our town. The MAC provides great opportunities for young children, teens and adults and provides a valuable source of entertainment for the community. It is important that people to help the MAC by attending their favorite show.”
