CSES fifth grader competes at state GeoBee

College Street Elementary School fifth grader William Rogers was the school’s qualifying participant for the statewide National Geography Bee. He won at the school level and then had to take an online test to qualify for the state bee. Rogers was one of only seven fifth graders who qualified across the state out of 95 students who competed (grades 4-8). The bee was held at Tennessee State University on Friday, March 29. Rogers made it to the 3rd round.
