Baby boomers are no longer children anymore. The demographic born during after World War II – 1946 and 1964, includes people who are now between 52 and 70 years old this year.
That’s the focus of this year’s Senior Adult Fair, taking place today at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.. Join everyone for a fun-filled day and obtain information from local and surrounding businesses about both services and goods available to boomers and seniors 55 and up. Admission is free. “We are proud to offer such a great day to the seniors and baby boomers of our community,” Kaitlyn McAdams of the Coffee County Funeral Chapel said. “This is our 8th year of hosting the event and it seems like every year just gets better,” she said. “This event is something that the Senior Adults look forward to all year long, and I want to personally thank everyone who makes this wonderful day come together.” Among vendors participating for the eighth event are the Manchester Times, Haven of Hope, Manchester Health Care Center, Tennova Healthcare, Manchester’s Senior Center, as well as Horizon Health Care and Rehab, Prater’s BBQ, Fast Pace Urgent Care, and many others. With goody bags, free samples, food, live entertainment and door prizes, there will be something for everyone. Admission is free, and the event is sponsored by Coffee County Funeral Chapel, Manchester Funeral Home & Crematory and Tullahoma Funeral Home.
