Collier Manufacturing held a grand opening ceremony on Friday, Sept. 6 to celebrate the expansion of the facility in Manchester.
Located in Coffee County Interstate Industrial Park, 188 Volunteer Ct., Collier Manufacturing recently completed the construction of a new warehouse.
The company manufactures, bottles and distributes 30 seconds outdoor cleaner.
“Collier Manufacturing has been in business since 1977,” said Jessica Merly, office manager. “We started in Oregon. We have been in this facility since 2015. Our first bottles shipped out in 2016, and since that time, we have added extra square footage on both sides of the building and extra fill lines to support the growth.
“We make 30 seconds cleaners. It’s a cleaner that removes stains from algae, mold and mildew off of all of your outdoor surfaces, from your roof to your siding to your driveway.”
Using the product helps you “get rid of all the stains and keep your property looking clean and beautiful,” Merly said.
“Today (Sept. 6), we celebrated our grand opening,” she said. “We have been at this facility for a while, but we just finished our expansion on both sides of the building, as well as improving our ability to bottle more and faster.”
Merly added that Joe Patsko, operations manager, and Nathan McGregor, plant supervisor, have been a “tremendous” part of the company’s success.
The growth is bringing additional job opportunities for locals, said Merly.
Collier Manufacturing is hiring.
“If there is anybody looking for work in the Manchester area, by all means, let us know,” Merly said. “We are hiring.”
The company is accepting applications for various positions.
“We are mostly talking production jobs – whether it’s an entry-level job for working on the fill line, maintaining equipment, driving a forklift, quality assurance and control – we are hiring for any of those types of production manufacturing positions.”
