The active cases are 0.33% of the population.
When the active cases are fewer than 0.5% of the Coffee County population (fewer than 282 active cases), the spread is considered minimal, according to Coffee County, Manchester City and Tullahoma City Schools. The schools proceed with their traditional schedule.
When the number of active cases is between 0.5% and 1%, the spread of the virus is considered moderate, and schools will adjust their schedules, and implement a combination of on-site and distance learning.
If the active cases exceed 1% of the population (565), the spread would be considered substantial, and distance learning will be fully implemented. No students will be in the school buildings.
The percentages are calculated based on population of 56,500.
