UPDATE Sept. 5: The Tennessee Department of Health has reported additional cases at Manchester Rehabilitation Center. As of Sept. 5, the department reports 17 residents have tested positive, two deaths, 15 recovered, and 11 staff members have tested positive.
STORY POSTED Aug. 1: Manchester Center for Rehabilitation, 395 Interstate Dr., has 10 residents and six staff members, who have tested positive for COVID-19, as of Aug. 1, according to the department of health.
The department reports cases of any nursing homes, assisted care living facilities and residential homes for the aged which are licensed by the Tennessee Department of Health and have had two or more confirmed COVID-19 cases among residents and staff members within two incubation periods, or 28 days.
Cases are attributed to the facility where the patient was located five days prior to symptom onset date or specimen collection date, if asymptomatic, according to the department of health.
