Manchester residents today showed truck drivers they appreciate their work. Amber Stepp was among locals offering meals to truck drivers near I-24's Exit 105.
"We have the means to help, so why not?" Stepp said.
"Without the truckers none of us would get any food, supplies or anything we need. This is our second night (offering meals)."
Stepp said truck drivers were happy to see that Manchester community cares.
"We had over 50 truckers the first time," Stepp said. "All were very grateful and praising us for doing this in these hard times. Many even gave donations after we repeatedly said it was no charge."
