The Crumpton Creek Bridge in the Rutledge Falls area will begin construction with a tentative start date of Nov. 11 to rebuild the bridge. Duck River has already relocated a main electric line near the bridge in preparation of the bridge replacement. Bellsouth will have to move their lines as well. Construction will not start until Bellsouth moves their lines. After that the roads around the area will be shut down during the construction.

The construction will be on a 120-day plan with allowances to bad weather due to the time of year they are starting. If could go for another month if weather is bad. The Highway Commission will notify the Communication Center when construction start so buses can plan alternate routes.
