Fire destroys farm shop

A structure fire at a farm on JD Neil Road destroyed at least one large building and threatened another Tuesday before firefighters got the blaze under control. Responding crews, also, feared early on that welding equipment stored in the shop might explode.  According to county records, the property is owned by Jeff and Kim Dean.  County volunteer firefighters and Tullahoma Fire Department provided mutual aid to responding station Hickerson Volunteer Fire Department with trucks and personnel. Coffee County Sherriff’s Department and Emergency Medical Services were on scene. The call came at 12:27 p.m. Nov. 19.
