Manchester Police Department to step up seat belt enforcment starting Monday

The Manchester Police Department has alerted the public of scam calls being received in the area.

"We continue to receive reports of activities involving Scams & Possible Scams. There are NO Law Enforcement Agencies that will contact you and request money to be sent to them. We encourage you to not communicate during these phone calls - simply hang up the phone," the department announces.

Recent reported calls have been from an individual who claimed to be a DEA Agent, the warning said.

The MPD added, "as always, DO NOT send money to people that you don’t know, especially as a result of a phone call."
