Do you know what happens when we gather together to celebrate in the success of others? We all win. As was the case as members of the business community assembled to champion fellow businesses and congratulate both nominees and winners at the 45th Annual Awards Gala, hosted by the Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

The event was held at the Manchester-Coffee County Conference Center and its ballroom looked more beautiful than I’ve ever seen it before. It was impeccably-decorated and added a touch of elegance to the evening’s event.

As winners came to the podium, a shared theme emerged – this is our town, and we love it. Stories of a small business’s humble beginnings and an industry partner who has expanded multiple times and now employs hundreds, share the common thread of loving where we live. Unexpectedly, I left that evening even more excited than when I arrived. The room was filled with people connected to the Chamber of Commerce and dedicated to moving our community forward.

Because of the people in that room, I don’t think there’s a better time to engage with your Chamber. We offer connections to help your business succeed, and this year, we’re adding professional development opportunities through the Tennessee Small Business Development Center and for the first time in our community, Dale Carnegie Leadership Training. Getting our members connected and promoting what they do allows us to help our business community celebrate one shared win after another.
