State Senator Janice Bowling (R-Tullahoma) announced she will be holding a series of “listening meetings” to meet with citizens and hear concerns regarding with State Legislature.
Bowling has held monthly public meetings in each of the counties she represents every summer and fall since taking office. She said the town hall style meetings have enabled her to meet with many citizens regarding a wide range of issues. She also offers her constituents assistance with state services.
"I look forward to talking with area citizens about the actions taken during the recently adjourned legislative session and about how we can make our state a better place to work and live,” said Senator Bowling. “These meetings allow me to make the most of that opportunity by connecting with the great Tennesseans of District 16, providing a listening ear and assisting the community I was elected to serve in any way I can.”
She will be in Manchester on Monday, June 24 at City Hall, 200 W. Fort St., from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. She will also be in Tullahoma’s City Hall, 123 N. Jackson St., from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
