Oak Restaurant fire

The Oak Restaurant fire exterior caught fire on Monday, June 3. The small flame damaged the exterior column of Oak Restaurant fire.

Manchester Fire-Rescue respond to an incident at the Oak Restaurant, 947 Interstate Drive, around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, June 3. The restaurant was closed at the time, but a staff member inside reportedly smelled smoke and called emergency personnel.

Firefighters found a small fire outside the of building in a stucco wooden column at the entrance of the restaurant. The column supports the handicap porch.

Crews able to find the fire, extinguish it, checked for fire extension to make sure there was no more fire in the building. Crews ventilated the facility and ensured everything was clear then crews returned to quarters.

No one was injured.
