Coffee County received several inches of snow Wednesday night, topping off a almost a week of wintery weather, starting with an early cumulation of ice, temperatures that remained in the low teens before things warmed and the snow began to fall. 

Thursday was the fourth day schools were out, and many business were closed or started late. Â
