The summer baseball action continued on July 17 when Clower Automotive visited People’s Bank in the 12U division. People’s Bank started off strong with two runs being scored by Cole Shedd and Kaysen Lowery. Clower matched that production with runs scored by Voj Rollman, Caleb Crouch, and Kaiden Gannon.
Clower turned up the intensity in the second inning. The team was able to score four runs courtesy of Grayson Sadlen, Crouch, Gannon, and Emmanuel Ruiz. People’s found themselves in an uphill battle as Clower stopped them from scoring any runs during the second inning.
People’s found no respite in the third inning, as Clower’s batting showed no signs of slowing down. Clower scored seven runs during the inning via Rollman, Sadlen, Gannon, Chase Spencer, Levi Rollman, Cason Rabosa, and Ruiz. Clower continued their defensive stand once again shutting down People’s offense.
The fourth inning saw Clower putting the finishing touches on the game. The team scored another three runs through Sadlen, Crouch, and Ruiz. Peoples had one last chance to cut the lead, but Clower quickly stifled that attempt yet again with the final score Peoples Bank 2-Clower 17.
