Freedom player prepares for the pitch.

The baseball action continued on July 24 as Freedom went against KK’s. Both teams found success at the plate as both teams scored two runs in the opening inning. Defensively Freedom seemed to have the early edge as the team was able to catch a few runners at second.

The second inning had Freedom find their offensive rhythm while KK’s seemed to have found a scoring rut. Freedom scored seven runs in the inning. KK’s couldn’t seem to find any luck at the plate however as the score quickly became one-sided.

The third inning didn’t fare much better for KK’s. The team’s offensive struggles continued as they couldn’t seem to score a run. Freedom on the other hand continued the offensive fury from the previous inning with another seven runs scored.

The final inning had KK’s finding a bit of an offensive rhythm. The team was able to score a run during the inning, but couldn’t keep Freedom from scoring in response ending the game Freedom 18-KK’s 3.
