Jim Bratton, Sports Writer On Saturday, the Coffee County Lady Raider softball team participated in the Rutherford County Softball Playday. The tournament featured several different teams from around the Middle Tennessee area. The Lady Raiders played four games total; two games at Oakland High School in the morning (against Forrest High School and Oakland), and two games at Siegel High School (against Wilson Central and Siegel) in the afternoon. The Lady Raiders were able to pick up a victory in the third game, defeating Wilson Central, 5-1. The regular season is scheduled to begin on March 12 against Franklin County at 7:00 p.m.
