Central High School announced two additions to the coaching staffs of the girls' soccer and girls' basketball programs Tuesday, April 9. Lee Xixis will take over as head soccer coach for the Lady Raiders. Anita Gannon will join Coach Joe Pat Cope's staff as an assistant for the Lady Raiders.

Xixis had previously served as an assistant to outgoing coach David Amado, who stepped down from the role following the 2018 season.

"We are excited to welcome Coach Xixis back into the Raider family. He will provide excellent leadership and experience." CHS Athletic Director Rebecca Koger said in a statement.

Gannon was a four-year starter at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and had previously coached the East Coffee Elementary School girls' basketball team.

"Coach Gannon brings a wealth of experience and energy to an already successful program," Koger's statement read.
