The Red Raiders golf team hit the links Wednesday for the final regular season home match of the season. Not only was it a makeup match against rival Tullahoma, it was also the team's senior day.
The match featured a modified 9-hole format based on points. The Red Raiders prevailed at Willowbrook, taming the Wildcats 9-0, to go to 60-5 on the season.
"I am so happy for the four seniors to get a win on Senior Day, but to do it against your rival makes it very special," Coach Mike Ray said.
Seniors Samuel Prater and Austin Farris led the way, both shooting 4-under par, 32. The second senior duo of Josh Perry and Matthew Hale posted a 1-over par, 37 and Freshman Logan Hale came in with a 3-over, 39.
Coffee County will close out the regular season Thursday afternoon in Lawrenceburg and will return to Lawrenceburg on Monday for the district tournament.
