Coffee County Swimming kicked off its postseason push Friday at Centennial SportsPlex in Nashville. Competing at the Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association Regional Tournament, the swimmers from Central High School finished in 20th place overall as a team.
Anna O'Connor advanced to the next round of postseason competition by making the state cut in the 100 fly.
Other standout performances for CHS included two second-place finishes for Jack Beachboard in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke. Beachboard qualified for states in both events. Kaylee Williams finished 13th in the 200 individual medley and 10th in the 100 breaststroke, earning a trip to states in both events. Jase Rice made the state cut in the 200 individual medley.
