Hosting their second meet of the year, Coffee County Central High School's cross country teams dominated Tuesday's Red Raider Run with four first-place finishes.
Greenlee Woods wrapped up her season in the middle school girls' race in first place with a 15:09.6. Woods was followed by Elizabeth Young who just edged past Harris Middle School's Cynthia Vitervo for a second place finish at 22:13.2. These were Coffee Middle's only runners in the race.
Cam Harvey got the Raiders going on the boys' side with a first place finish at 12:27.3. Coffee Middle rounded out the top three with Lucas Beaty and Bradley Escue finishing at times of 12:35.2 and 13:05.2, respectively.
CMS students Manuel Gonzalez and Clayton Bryant placed fifth and seventh place at 13:59.7 and 15:17.6.
CHS got things started with a first-place finish in the girls' race from Patricia Barrera at the 22:35 mark. The Lady Raiders followed this by claiming third through sixth place. Madison Rooker and Ariana Hanson finished in third and fourth with times of 24:01 and 26:43.2. Beatris Barrera and Zoe Mills followed in fifth and sixth at 26:48.2 and 27:49.5. Haley Sherrill finished in ninth place, crossing the line at 30:53.5.
In the high school boys' race, Jacob Rutledge crossed the finish line at 18:27.3 for another Red Raider first place. Renato Ayala followed in third place with a time of 19:42.1.
After Ayala, Coffee County claimed fifth through 10th place. Ethan Welch crossed first at 20:14.1. Bodey Todd came in sixth at 20:37.8. Landon Kenney claimed seventh with a finish at 20:50.4. Jacob Melton followed with an eighth-place finish, crossing the line at 20:51.1. Christian Alvarez and Garrett Masters rounded out the top 10 in ninth and 10th place at 21:13.3 and 21:47.1, respectively. Wesley Swiger finished in 18th place with a time of 28:24.1.
The Red Raider Run served as Coffee Middle's final meet of the season. The high school team will run their next meet on Saturday, Oct. 13, at the MCSSA Championships in Dickson.
