Coffee County Middle School basketball went back on the road Thursday night to take on Tullahoma West Middle School. The Lady Raiders fell 32-22 while the Raiders escaped with a 26-23 win. 

Lady Raiders fall in game's final minutes

CMS was able to stay out in front of West up until the last three minutes of the game. Defensive shifts by the Lady Bobcats led to a late-game rally and a loss for the Lady Raiders.

Alivia Reel finished the game with 10 points. Chloe Gannon and Nikki Graham ended the night with five points each. 

CMS boys hold on to lead for road win

As the game entered the fourth quarter, the Raiders were sitting on a comfortable double-digit lead. Over the course of the game's final minutes, West began to close the gap until the lead was within reach. The Raiders were able to stay ahead of the Bobcats by three points and leave with a victory. 

Jacob Holder led the Raiders with nine points. Ethan Hargrove and Dayne Crosslin followed with six each.
