Manchester resident Dillon Tosh recently competed in the 2019 World Doubles Trap Shooting Championship in Sparta, Ill. Tosh had a standout run through the ten-day event to take first place and win the title.
Out of 1,662 entrants, only nine had perfect 100 scores. Tosh was the only participant to maintain a perfect record throughout the competition to help him claim the championship.
This is Tosh's second world doubles title, after winning five years ago at the 2014 championship. His first title at age 15 made him the youngest winner in the event's history. Tosh began his trap shooting career with the Westwood trap shooting team when he was a seventh grader.
Championship winners are featured on the cover of Trap and Field magazine, which will feature Tosh in the upcoming issue in September.
Tosh has been sponsored by Caesar Guerrini shotguns since he won his first title and has been on their pro staff.
