Coffee County swimming returned to Nashville's Centennial Sportsplex Saturday for the Middle Tennessee High School Swimming Association Middle School Region Meet. 

The event featured swimmers from both Coffee County Middle and Westwood Middle. Saturday's meet brings the middle school swim season to a close. 

Notable performances for CMS included an 11th-place finish in the 200 freestyle relay and 13th in the 200 medley relay. Standouts in the individual events included Emily Williams, with a sixth-place finish in the 200 freestyle and Clancy Sand's 12th-place finish in the 50 freestyle. 

For Westwood, standout performances included Nick Bogle with a third-place finish in the 100 butterfly and a fifth-place finish in the 200 individual medley. The Lady Rockets also finished with a time of 2:42.50 in the girls' 200 medley relay.
