Four Red Raiders shot in the 70s to lead the Coffee County Central golf team to a season-opening win Thursday at the Murfreesboro Invitational.
As a team, Coffee County shot a 305 in the 18-hole tournament, edging out Nolensville by one stroke. Brentwood took third with a 314. In total, 10 teams competed in the tournament.
Individually for Coffee County, Samuel Prater led the way with a 74 - fourth best in the entire field. Rounding out the top scores for the Raiders were Josh Perry with a 76, Austin Farris with a 77 and freshman Logan Hale with a 77.
