The 2020 football season has been allowed to move forward by the TSSAA; however new safety protocols have been implemented to limit the chance of a COVID-19 outbreak at the games. The two biggest changes will be the banning of ticket sales at the games and a limit to the number of attendees. The ways to purchase a ticket are as follows:
Tickets will be on sale at the CHS Main Office.
Wednesday, Aug. 19 from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 20 from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Friday, Aug. 21 from 8 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Digital tickets can be purchased from GoFan.
Download the GoFan app.
Search for Coffee County Central High School.
Select the event and purchase a ticket.
There is a convenience fee. The fee does not go to CHS.
CHS will not issue refunds for digital tickets. You should check the GoFan policies on refunds and other issues before purchasing a ticket.
Adult tickets are $7.
CHS student tickets are $5.
Preschool children are free.
It is unclear at this time if this is the model that will be followed for the duration of the season. What is known is how limited the attendance will be. The TSSAA recommends that a limit of 2,623 people are to be sold a ticket, so it is recommended that one purchases a ticket quickly.
The school will also be taking temperatures of all people in attendance including players and staff. If someone has a temperature of over 100.4, they will not be allowed admittance. Masks and facial coverings will be required while on site (except for children under age 2 and people with medical conditions). Social distancing will also be strongly encouraged. Concessions will sell only pre-packaged, sealed food and drinks.
