The Westwood Middle School football team delivered another strong showing for its home crowd Friday night.

Hosting Eagleville for a week 2 matchup, the Rockets once again held their opponent scoreless on the way to a 30-0 victory over the Eagles. The win followed a 38-0 home win over Community to open the season the week before.

Westwood (2-0) travels to Cannon County for its first road test of the 2026 season Thursday evening. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.

The Lady Raiders came up one goal short in their regular-season home opener Friday evening.

Coffee County (1-1) travels to Franklin County to take on North Monday evening. Start time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

The Lady Raiders fell to the visiting Lady Pioneers in their season opener Friday evening, losing by set scores of 25-19 and 25-16.

Coffee County will look to bounce back on the road against cross-county rival Tullahoma Monday. Start time for JV is set for 5:30 p.m. with varsity following.
