The Coffee County volleyball team finished with another winning record at its latest postseason tuneup Saturday.

Traveling to Upperman High School to take part in the Putnam County Playday, the Lady Raiders finished the day with a 5-3 set record against their opponents.

Coffee County opened the competition with a two-set sweep of Greenbrier, winning by scores of 25-17 and 25-15. The Lady Raiders went on to split with Sale Creek, winning the first set 25-14 before falling 25-23 in the second set.

After falling 25-19 in the first set to Central Magnet, Coffee County bounced back with a 25-20 win in the two teams’ second set. The Lady Raiders once again rebounded from a first set loss against their final opponent of the day, losing 27-25 against Stone Memorial in the first set before winning 25-18 in the second set.

Coffee County opens the 2026 season on the road against Grundy County next Monday. Start time is set for 6 p.m.
