For the 169^th time, the Coffee County Fair is offering over a week of fun for all members of the family starting this Friday, Sept. 4.

Festivities begin that night with a rodeo, tractor pull and a performance from Four on the Floor, all starting at 7 p.m. Gates open at 4 p.m. and rides start at 5 p.m.

Gates will open on Saturday Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. to usher in the return of pageants to the fairground after being hosted at Coffee County Central High School.

Little Miss Coffee County (4-5 years) will start at 12 p.m., Junior Miss (6-8) is at 2 p.m., Junior Miss (9-12) starts at 4 p.m., Miss Teen (13-15) will begin at 6 p.m. and Fairest of the Fair will be at 8p.m.

All pageants will be held at the new Midway Entertainment and Agricultural Pavilion.

The night will also feature a rodeo at 7 p.m. in Center Ring and monster trucks at the fairgrounds track. A performance by Coffee County’s Macy Tabor will cap off the night at 9 p.m.

Sunday Sept. 6 will start with the 0-6 months Baby show at 1 p.m. followed by 6-12 months at 2 p.m., 12-18 months at 3 p.m., 18-24 months at 4 p.m. and the Toddler Show (2-3 years) at 5 p.m.

The day will also feature an Antique Tractor Show at 2 p.m. in Center Ring and a Tractor Pull at 7 p.m. on the track. Mountain Highway Bluegrass will perform at 6 p.m. at the pavilion and a motorcross show will close the night at 7 p.m. in Center Ring. Gates will open at 12 p.m.

Monday Sept. 7 is Military Night with free admission for all active military, veterans, first responders and law enforcement. I.D. must be presented for free entry. Gates open at 1 p.m.

Mountain Highway Bluegrass will perform once again starting at 1 p.m. An Open Class Car Show will start at 2 p.m. A meet & greet with Southern TN Weather’s Elijah Kirby will be held from 5-7 p.m. at the Main Gate. An Open Sheep show will start at 6 p.m. in the barn and a Garden Tractor Pull will end the night at 7 p.m. in Center Ring.

Gates open at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8 with a Wool and Woolies Show at 5 p.m. and an Open Sheep Show at 6 p.m., both in the barn. Coffee County Karaoke will be held at 7 p.m. in the pavilion with registration starting at 6:30 p.m.

Senior Day is Wednesday, Sept. 9 with free admission to all citizens 55 and older. A Senior Citizen’s Program will be held at 9 a.m. at the pavilion followed by Golden Oldies with Nick D’s Music at 11 a.m.

An Open Fun Horse Show will start at 5 p.m. in Center Ring and an Open Dairy Cattle Show will follow in the barn at 6 p.m. Nick D’s Music will close the night at 7 p.m. in the pavilion.

Wrestling will kick off the festivities in Center Ring starting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10 after gates open at 4 p.m. A Junior Dairy Cattle Show will be held in the Barn at 6 p.m. and Trio will perform in the pavilion at 7 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 11 is Kid’s Day and will start with the Youth Field Day in Center Ring from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Face painting will be available from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Barn. On Nick’s Stage, an Ice Cream Eating Contest will be held at 2 p.m. and a Beard and Mullet Contest will be held at 5 p.m.

An Open & Junior Beef Cattle Show will be held in the Barn at 6 p.m. followed by a performance by Tailgate Revival in the pavilion and a Jump and Run race at the track, both at 7 p.m. Gates open at 9 a.m.

Saturday, Sept. 12 will see the gates open at 8 a.m. with a Dog and Pet show starting in the pavilion at 9 a.m. Mule Demonstrations will start at 10 a.m. in Center Ring followed by a Pedal Pull in the Barn at 11:30 a.m.

The pavilion will host a 4-H chick Chain Show and Sale at 12 p.m., a Rooster Crowing Contest at 1:30 p.m. and Farmer’s Olympics at 2 p.m. A performance by Sticky Kim in the pavilion and a Jump and Run race at the track will close the festivities at 7 p.m.

Admission will be $10 every day of the fair with a $1 discount being offered on Sept. 9 with the donation of a canned good or non-perishable item.

Rides start at 5 p.m. on Sept. 4, 8, 9 and 10, 3 p.m. on Sept. 5-7, 1 p.m. on Sept. 11 and 11 a.m. on Sept. 12.
