The Coffee County cross country team welcomed a variety of programs to Manchester Monday evening.

Hosting the Coffee County Invitational at Old Stone Fort Golf Course, the event featured both boys’ and girls’ high school races, as well as a combined middle school race.

At the high school level, the Lady Raiders finished in seventh out of eight teams with 162 points. On the boys’ side, Coffee County finished 11^th out of 11 competing teams with 311 points.

Oakland took the top spot in the girls’ team standings with 50 points. Blackman finished first among the boys’ teams with 74 points.

In the middle school race, Westwood finished in first place out of five teams in the girls’ standings with 49 points. On the boys’ side, the Rockets took ninth place out of nine teams with 226 points. Cannon County led the middle school boys’ teams with 38 points.

Coffee County Middle School had boys’ and girls’ runners competing, but did not compete in the team standings.

In the high school girls’ race, Coffee County was led by Ashleigh Johnson in fifth place with a time of 22:53.00. Additional finishes for the Lady Raiders included Chloe Hensiek (34^th, 27:16.00), Cadence Darden (49^th, 28:45.00), Anna Prince (54^th, 29:15.00), Anna Robertson (56^th, 29:45.00), Samantha Johnson (57^th, 29:47.00), Payton Thomas (64^th, 31:54.00), Maggie Bailey (70^th, 33:57.00) and Ellison Smith (77^th, 38:02.00).

Coffee County’s boys’ high school runners were led by Natalio Moreno-Rivera with a 64^th place finish at a time of 22:49.00. Other finishes for the Red Raiders included Wyatt Hess (69^th, 23:02.00), Aiden Hayes (74^th, 23:16.00), Kaydan Morris (79^th, 23:52.00), Darren Weitzel (86^th, 24:16.00), Bradley Lazalier (91^st, 24:50.00), Samuel Rogers (93^rd, 24:56.00), Ethan Hayes (96^th, 25:20.00), Samuel Hockett (98^th, 25:46.00), Ezekiel Gandarilla (103^rd, 26:56.00), Peyton VanMeter (104^th, 27:10.00) and Greyson Hawkins (108^th, 28:01.00).

In the middle school combined race, Westwood’s girls’ runners were led by Diana Segovia as the girls’ first-place finisher with a time of 14:53.00. Other Lady Rocket runners’ finishes included Lyza Cashion (4^th, 16:34.00), Julia Barnett (16^th, 20:34.00), Audrey Sain (19^th, 20:43.00), Jillian Monroe (24^th, 21:57.00), Amelia Davis (31^st, 25:37.00), Piper Huddy (35^th, 26:49.00), Kennedy Steele (39^th, 30:51.00), Georgia Taylor (41^st, 32:02.00) and Lilly Driver (42^nd, 34:31.00).

Westwood’s boys’ runners were led by Laine Jones in 25^th place in the boys’ standings with a time of 15:20.00. Additional Rocket runners included Zion Massey (51^st, 17:32.00), Asher Lusby (52^nd, 18:08.00), Matthew Levingood (53^rd, 18:12.00) and Cayden Barnes (63^rd, 20:17.00).

Evelyn Shelton led the Coffee County Middle School girls’ runners with a 21^st-place finish at a time of 21:11.00. Others included Charlette Hysell (28^th, 24:01.00), Blakely Boehman (36^th, 27:15.00) and Eliza Weitzel (37^th, 27:58.00).

Nicolas Gonzalaz led Coffee County Middle School’s boys’ runners, posting a fourth-place finish with a time of 12:47.00. Other finishes included Carter Keenan (68^th, 25:27.00) and Leo Gandarilla (70^th, 26:40.00).
