The Coffee County golf team continued its postseason with the region tournament at Franklin Bridge Golf Club in Franklin Tuesday.

The Red Raiders finished the day with a team score of 306. On the girls’ side, Coffee County posted a 193.

Page took first place in the boys’ team standings with a score of 261. Centennial followed in second place with a 285. Page also secured the top spot in the girls’ competition with a score of 142. Nolensville finished second, carding a team score of 149.

Carter Bell led the Red Raiders’ boy scores with a 72, finishing just ahead of Levi Rossman with a 73. Jaxon Phillips shot a 79 on the day. Rylan Melson rounded out Coffee County’s team score with an 82.

Karaline Matthews led Coffee County’s girls’ scorers with an 81. Mackenzie Ragland added a 113.

The TSSAA Golf State Championships will be held at Sevierville Golf Club from October 5-9.

The Lady Raiders fell to the Lady Lions on the road in a Class 3A District 6 matchup Tuesday.

Lilly Matherne had both of Coffee County’s goals over the course of the game.

Coffee County (4-8-1, 1-4 district) returns home to take on Cascade at 6 p.m. Thursday.
