The Coffee County boys’ golf team was back in action with a nine-hole match at Franklin County Golf Club Thursday.

Just as they had in their season opener on Monday, the Red Raiders once again finished the day as runners-up behind Lawrence County, shooting a team score of 165. Lawrence County finished the match with a 159, with additional team scores including Tullahoma and Warren County in a tie for third at 171, Franklin County in fourth at 176, Shelbyville in fifth at 178 and Lincoln County rounding it out at 181.

Individual scores for the Red Raiders included Levi Rossman, who shot a team-high 39. Jaxon Philips, Rylan Melson and Carter Bell all followed with a 42 to round out the team’s top four for its final score. Blaine Bonner also competed for Coffee County, finishing his round with a 47.
