The Coffee County golf team was back on its home turf at WillowBrook Golf Club to host Tullahoma and Independence Monday.

The Red Raiders came away with the lowest team score of the day, posting a 302 to take first place. Independence followed with a 355, with Tullahoma rounding it out with a 358.

On the girls’ side, Coffee County faced off against Independence only. The Lady Raiders shot a 202, finishing behind the Lady Eagles’ 181.

Levi Rossman led the way for the Red Raiders with a score of 71. Jaxon Phillips followed with a 75, finishing just ahead of Rylan Melson with a 76. Blaine Bonner rounded out Coffee County’s top four scores with an 80.

Karaline Matthews led the Lady Raiders with a 91. Up next was Karsyn Riddle with a 111.

MIDDLE SCHOOL GIRLS’ SOCCER

Westwood 2, Franklin County 0

The Lady Rockets came away with one goal each in the first and second halves on the way to a shutout victory in their home opener Monday.

Italia Orpineda got Westwood on the board, with Raegan Sample following in the second half to bring the game to what would be its final score.

Westwood remains at home to host Fayetteville at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.

Coffee County 1, EO Coffman 0

The Lady Raiders opened conference play with a shutout road victory in Lawrenceburg Monday.

Finley Jones came away with the only goal of the evening to put Coffee County ahead.

Coffee County returns home to host Warren County at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
