Photographer charged with theft

Staff Report
A sports photographer was arrested on Aug. 14 in Knoxville after a Coffee County Grand Jury returned and indictment against her for theft of property.
According to Chief Investigator Brandon Reed, Coffee County Sheriff’s Department Investigative Division began investigating Shauna M. Holland in November of 2025.
“Investigators learned that Ms. Holland was hired by the Little League baseball to take their Spring pictures in 2025. Ms. Holland took the photos and the money but never turned over the pictures,” Reed told the Times in an email.
According to law enforcement, over 130 people had paid Holland money in Coffee County alone.
During the investigation, investigators say they found that that roughly $7,000 was taken from people in Coffee County. In 2026, Holland’s case was taken before the Coffee County Grand Jury, where an indictment for theft of property was returned, according to Reed.
Holland was taken into custody in Knoxville on Aug. 14, 2026 and then transferred to Coffee County, where she posted a $2,500 bond and has a court date of Sept. 16 2026, for arraignment.
