ROBERSON

Scotty Wade Roberson, age 53, of Lewisburg, formerly of Decherd, passed away surrounded by his loved ones on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.  He was born to Gary and Gail Roberson on Dec. 31, 1971, in Bethesda, Maryland.   Scotty graduated with an associate’s degree in robotics, and he built a fulfilling career specializing in low-voltage installations and security systems.  His technical skill, dedication, and strong work ethic earned him the respect of coworkers and clients alike.  Scotty was known for his sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering loyalty – especially to his favorite team, the Alabama Crimson Tide.  Saturdays in the fall were sacred as he cheered “Roll Tide” with family and friends.  He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, including his faithful dog, Frank, who never left his side.  Scotty is preceded in death by his grandparents, JB and Audrey Sherrill, Leon Roberson, Nell and Joe Davenport.  In addition to his parents, Scotty is survived by his wife, Pam Roberson; daughter, Rhianna Roberson; stepsons, Scott (April) Miller and Philip Miller; brother, Greg (Sheila) Roberson, and granddaughters, McKinley Miller and Kimber Ross-Miller.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2 p.m. from the chapel. Interment followed in Franklin Memorial Gardens with Lynn Mullican, Rick Bond, Jimmy Mitchell, Jason Ping, Bryan Brown and Jacob Cashion all serving as pallbearers.
