Coffee County Sheriff’s Department seized approximately $4,685 in cash as well as cocaine, LSD and other drugs during the abbreviated Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

Sheriff Chad Partin said that before the event was canceled on Friday, officers made five arrests, issued 41 citations and seized 10.8 ounces of mushrooms, 245 hits of LSD, 4.8 ounces of ketamine, 4.6 ounces of cocaine, 1 lbs. 3.7 ounces of marijuana  9.3 ounces of MDMA molly, 6.5 ounces of ecstasy and $4,685 in cash.

These numbers do not include other law enforcement agencies.

The quantities of drugs seized are considered significant amounts. An “8-ball” of cocaine is 1/8 an ounce.  The common recreational dose of ketamine is approximately 30–75 mg and 1g of MDMA crystal/powder is equivalent to roughly 8 adult doses. One gram is equal to 0.035 ounces.
