Tony-winning comedy to open April 4 at MAC

Millennium Rep brings Christopher Durang’s hilarious Tony-winning comedy “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” to the stage at the Manchester Arts Center, beginning April 4.
Siblings Vanya and Sonia are living a quiet, monotonous life in their childhood home, but it takes a wild turn when their movie star sister Masha blows in from New York with her new young boy toy, Spike. Add in psychic housekeeper Cassandra and starstruck young neighbor Nina, and laughs and chaos (and a costume party) are on the way. The New York Times called this Broadway hit “deliriously funny!”
The cast features Audrey Yates as Sonia, Kelly Lapczynski as Masha, Stephen Yates as Vanya, Connor Hubble as Spike, Doreen Schulz as Cassandra, and Jade Dodd as Nina. The director is Joel Longstreth.
“Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike” contains adult language and is not recommended for pre-teens. The show runs April 4 – 6 and 11 – 13, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and military, and $10 for students, and are available at millenniumrep.org or by calling 931.570.4489.
The Arts Center is located just off Manchester’s historic square at 128 E. Main St.
