Patsy Elaine Clayton, age 87, of Manchester, passed away at Unity Medical Center on March 7, 2025. She was born on May 18, 1937, to parents Christian and Faye Campbell in Manchester. Along with her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, James Clayton; and sister, Anita Gray. She is survived by her son, David Jones; daughter, Devona (William) Dettinger; brother, Bernice Anthony; grandchildren, Brant and Dane Dettinger; and many nieces and nephews. Patsy was a long-time member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church, having been very involved in both service and church activities for many years. She loved her two cats and piecing together jigsaw puzzles. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and church family. Visitation was held at Manchester Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 11, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 12, in Manchester Funeral Home’s Chapel beginning at 1 p.m. with a funeral procession and graveside services following at Rose Hill Memorial in Tullahoma, TN. Brother Darrell Day will be officiating services.
