Theresa Michelle Wright Fults “Chip,” age 51, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025. She was born on Feb. 3, 1973 in Winchester, Tennessee, to Robert Lee Wright and Rosemary Theresa Graham. Michelle was a friend and strength to so many. A light in the darkness. She was funny with quick wit and a sharp tongue. She was a born leader and caregiver. With every opportunity to care and help heal someone, she was there, always ready to help. She was very compassionate to those in pain or need. She helped raise many children besides her own. She always found a way. Even the animals she encountered loved her. Everywhere she went, work or visited, she was loved. Crazy love. Michelle was preceded in death by, parents, Robert Lee Wright and Rosemary Theresa Graham, her eldest son, Nathan Earl May, her oldest sister, Carol Archy and her youngest brother, Charles Bradford Wright. Michelle is survived by two sons; Nicholas Everette Fults and Noah Patrick Fults; brothers; Kevin Scott Wright and Robert Lee Wright Jr, two sisters; Christy Nicole Hill and Lisa Diana Reed; two granddaughters; Analeigh Amelia Manier and Willow Grace Fults, several nieces and nephews, her longtime partner, James Avans and her confidant and best friend, Maryann Rigney. A final ride for Chip was held for Monday, Feb. 10 at noon from Manchester Funeral Home to Mount Zion Cemetery, in Viola. A graveside service was held at 1 p.m. with Michelle Jordan Johnson officiating.
