Ms. Bonnie Jean Owen, age 78, of Nashville, passed from this life Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025, in Fayetteville. Ms. Owen was born in Clarksville, Tenn.  to her late parents David Shurdon Owen and Ruth Dabney Meriwether Owen of Hillsboro, TN. She was a retired nurse after 30 plus years. Ms. Owen was an animal lover at heart and had a high-end obedience ranking with her Norwegian Elkhound. She also loved the town of Manchester. Ms.Owen is survived by a brother, David S. Owen; sister, Elizabeth O. Thomison; nieces and nephews, David S. Owen, William C. (Addie) Thomison, Elizabeth H. Thomison, and Diane R. (Robert) Mortenson. Visitation was held Saturday, Jan. 4, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Central Funeral Home in Manchester. Graveside services were held following visitation at 1:30 p.m. at Hillsboro Methodist Cemetery with burial following. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local humane society.
