GRIBBLE

Mrs. Dorothy Elizabeth Gribble, age 91, of Manchester, passed away Sunday, Dec. 15, 2024. Mrs. Gribble was born June 22, 1933 to the late Noah and Entha Rachel Gilbert Bratcher. She worked as a seamstress at Batesville Casket Company and attended Forest Mill United Methodist Church. She was a woman of many talents and found joy in creating and giving to her loved ones as she crafted pieces, both through sewing and crocheting. Cooking and spending time with her grandchildren will leave countless cherished memories. Her love for flowers brought beauty and warmth to her life. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gribble was preceded in death by her husband, Bernie Gribble; son, Bobby Ray Gribble and six brothers, Woodrow, John, Gene, Joe, James and Hollis Bratcher. Mrs. Gribble is survived by one son, Ronnie Gribble; two daughters, Bernice and her husband, Delbert Hampton and Janie and her husband, Tim Dotson; four grandchildren, Mitzi Lowe, Travis and his wife, Allison Dotson, Chad and his wife, Candice Hampton and Sarah & her husband, Lucas Fletcher; great grandsons, Cason Hampton, Collier Fletcher and great grandson on-the-way, Noah Ray Fletcher. Visitation with the Gribble family was held Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 11 a.m.-noon at Central Funeral Home. Graveside service immediately followed at 1 p.m. at Banks Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Smithville, TN.
