The City of Manchester’s annual Christmas parade on Saturday, Nov. 30 brought 107 entries that ranged from single recreational vehicles to large multi-float semis. 

The theme for the parade was 90s Christmas, and the winner of the large float category was an entry by Sain Construction that featured a Blockbuster Video store with posters of Christmas classics.

The Grand Marshal of the parade was Manchester Fire Department Assistant Chief Mark Reed who recently retired.

Following the parade, Reed, his wife Josie and Mr. and Mrs. Claus lit the Manchester Christmas tree on the square and the professional Christmas lighting installed  through a partnership with The Coffee County Health, Welfare and Recreation Committee and Manchester Tourism Committee.
