Wednesday morning during the Coffee County Fair is traditionally senior day with special senior-focused events hosted by Manchester Parks and Recreation Department.

Manchester Rec. Wellness director Justin “JB“ Brian headed the day’s event. This was his first senior day after taking the position with the retirement of longtime Rec. Department wellness director and instructor Cindy Weber’s retirement.

“I think it’s an important event for seniors.” Brian said. “When you get that age it’s good to keep moving. And this brings awareness to show seniors what we offer at the Rec. Center.”

The morning’s events included a Zumba class, a cakewalk, a performance by the Dancing Queens, prizes and informational material.
