JOHNSON

Jane Frazier Johnson, age 89, of Manchester went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday, Aug. 9, 2024.  She was born Feb. 25, 1935 in Manchester to the late James and Willie (Wiser) Frazier.  In addition to her parents, Jane is also preceded in death by the father of her son, James Edwin O’Neal; her husband, Andy Johnson; and siblings, Wilson Frazier, Claude Frazier, Jess Frazier, Howard Frazier, J.V. Frazier, D.C. Frazier, and Mary Catherine Smithson. Jane was an incredibly compassionate and skilled person. Her dedication to making her yard beautiful and her talent for cooking country food highlight her creativity and love for nurturing. Her knowledge of medical care, despite not having a formal degree, shows her resourcefulness and dedication to helping others, especially as she cared for her late husband.  Jane poured her heart into everything she did, balancing her passions and skills with a deep sense of care for those around her. She was also a longtime member of Forest Mills Methodist Church. Jane is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Carrie O’Neal; brother, John “Johnnie B” Frazier; grandchildren, Jamison Eldridge (Lindsey) and Shane Pickens (Penny); and great-grandchildren, Aubrianna Eldridge, Paisley Eldridge, and Annabelle Pickens. The family received friends from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15 at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Danny Anderson officiating.  Interment followed at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
